Check whether a betting site is licensed
Type or paste the address. We compare it with SRIJ's list of operators licensed for fixed-odds sports betting.
Works with or without «www» and «https://». Subdomains count as the main domain.
What each answer means
The domain belongs to an operator with an active SRIJ sports-betting licence.
Active licence, but fewer than 90 days left until the end date published by SRIJ.
The operator holds a licence but has suspended its betting activity at its own request.
The address is not on SRIJ's sports-betting list. Do not open an account.
How we check
No opinions: only the official list, with the date we read it.
Every night, with at most one request per second and our robot identified.
Number, operator, brand, domain, game type and status, with the date of the read.
We remove «https://», «www» and paths, and also check the main domain.
Every answer gives the date of the list used and links to the official page.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the official list?
On SRIJ's website, on the «Entidades licenciadas» page. It shows each brand, its site, the licensed operator and the licences it holds.
Does SRIJ publish a list of blocked sites?
No. SRIJ notifies illegal operators and asks internet providers to block the sites, but does not publish the list. So we only say whether a site is on the licensed list or not.
Can a site with a casino licence take sports bets?
No. Licences are per game type. A site licensed only for games of chance («jogos de fortuna ou azar») cannot offer fixed-odds sports betting.
What if the site looks just like a licensed one?
Check the address letter by letter. Copied sites use similar domains. If the address is not on the list, it is not the licensed site.
